Some fan art of the Zinogre from the Monster Hunter Series.
It was a lot of fun. More so than I expected. Challenging too! I learned a lot about hair and grooming though perhaps I should have started with something less complex to ease into the process more. It was also interesting… and admittingly frustrating trying to understand lighting and matcaps in ZBrush. The result is from that is more bare-bones than I would have liked and although I touched it up in GIMP a bit, I didn’t want to spend to much time on it because I’ve got to try to bring this into real time.
