Zbrush: Weird outline after using Select Lasso

#1

I used the select lasso to temporarily hide a portion of my model while adding detail but once I brought back the whole model there is this line where the lasso previously “cut” the area. I am trying make this line disappear but I dont know how.

What is the purpose of this line and how do I make it disappear?

#2

the image line is hard to see.
try the stroke menu on top curve functions >delete

#3

It was a transparent line exactly where the “select lasso” cut the model. I duplicated the model and one of the two didnt present the transparent outline and thus deleted the one I didnt want.
I still havent figured out what that was

hold down the CTRL+SHIFT and click on the canvas and not the object.

with the lasso on and you click the object instead of drag lasso it then it hides part like a edge loop, so what you did was hide a edge that loops and CTRL+SHIFT and click on the canvas will un-hide it.
changing your subd slider should all so un-hide it
