Hello! Ok im having a rather annoying problem at the moment where I made a model in zbrush a longtime ago and its scale is way off (to small). When I bring this model into maya from Zbrush its only around 3cm tall, it should be about 180cm… I havent picked zbrush up for a while but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to sync the scales up between these two applications.
If I scale the object up in maya, re center transforms and then freeze, export and then import into zbrush at the lowest sub level I loose all of my displace details on the existing Zbrush file. Saying this the mesh is now the correct scale…
If I try the same procedure in Zbrush using say the scale tool to scale it up to the correct height and export with a scale of 1 and no offsets my model is again tiny in Maya…
I see that in my export options I had previously scaled up the model here before exporting. But as im using 32bit displacement I want the two models to match exactly in both apps so the displacement details are correct…Is this really so hard to achieve or am I being a dumb ass?
