Z-depth from G-buffer

To begin with, I m not scriptwriter, I do not know how to write a script, at least not for public use. Although, I know how to read them pretty well.

I searched a little on ScriptSpot and the net for (rendering) z-depth scripts.
I just found scripts using the zdepth render element
Or even stuff that uses gradient texturing.
I have not seen anything using a G-buffer data that does not need Z min and max as zdepth render element and RTT need.
I believe that a lot of users do not even know how to save this data - because it is limited to 3 formats (I will not say that reason for that is lack of information on topic on Facebook and similar shi…:smiley: stuff ).

One of those formats is EXR which has been “not exotic format” for a while , maybe most interesting form. this subj.

I see here a lack of inspiration and ideas so maybe someone might consider about making something on this topic
