Nice! Those look pretty hand rendered.
Although your models do look like they’ve got lots of sharp lines. Its always tough to get that effect on smooth models with low contrast. I’ve also seen some cool bits of software than can pick up on the black lines, and replace them with fancy stroke effects using vectors.
here on a soft model …

thank you sir
although for more control i woul dgo with maya mentalray or vray …as you can decide at what edge angles you would want the renderer to pick up a line…
furthermore you could also dress that render up wiht some cool paintfx in maya :arteest:
Absolutely breathtaking!
When I see this calibre of work from an accomplished experienced artist, it never fails to inspire me to improve/excel in my own progression.
Cheers
That strip makes it look faster than light
Wonderful, beautiful, inspiring… there’s so much to your work, everything is so goooood! Happy I found this thread.
On the gallery posting weirdness: there are some strange decisions being made, I fully agree. It makes one feel like it’s a random system without any concept behind. Never mind, your stuff is amazing.
ohohoho my god!!
That thing is beautiful!
…and I love that character too… with his dangling sausage!! :surprised
:surprised What’s wrong with me?! :surprised
Lately I’m confusing renders and photos!
I guess the cola can in the background made me think it was a 3D print…
Well… better not paint it… or you’ll ruin your monitor!
