XTRM3D little corner

#181

time to move to something else …

#182

drool

one of my favourite cars of all time.

#183

thank you …

let’s start on something different for once

#184

still testing some skin approach … no textures for now …

#185

for now … more modo fun …
trying to understand the way it work now when it come to rendering

#186

this time with octane for maya …
still all procedural

#187

in blue perhaps ?

#188

All that weathering is procedural? looks pretty sweet, how is it done?

#189

yes procedural so far … would probably paint maps … when i am out of crunch … ““soon””

inverted dirt texures as a mask for the worn edges , and noise for teh ““dirt””
octane for maya nodes ,… but also doable in vray for maya with teh same workflow

or in modo … as shown in teh snowy one

#190

after a long hiatus, crunching like crazy on the Last of Us … :wip:
i can finally dedicate some time on this stuff … back to square one … and completely redid the uv to paint all the scratch and materials mask by hand in mudbox

#191

another side project … to keep the poly modelling juice flowing

#192

O M G great modelling i like it this work

#193

rig done,
shader done …
now i need to render it nicely

#194

800x800 42 sec rendering !!
back to painting the missing textures layers

#195

great textures i love it , but tell me u don’t make the skin textures inside ???

#196

I like the model of the Star Trooper from the Star Wars series franchise. Is that a body grill for a Nissan Skyline, a Nissan Skyline R34? I could be wrong though. May I see the full model of the car? Would you ever use dDo in your workflow in your texturing process or do you use it already? I went through your thread and I would like to say to hopefully keep the thread alive. I like the character designs for the Red Star 47 series. To note the character in this page needs a bit of variation to its skin, maybe that could be done in the texturing stages although. As well as on the eye shader, but that may be your art direction you are going for, the stylized look; opinion wise, the eyes are a bit flat and needs more emphasis in detail for a stronger character design, in consistency to your other models.
