Hello!
I have start this painting some day ago, with the intention to realize a poster for a rock band named Xtheria. I’ve think to draw a mad girl with straitjacket and a “wall” of Marshall tubes with canvas in shreds by her…
Started with a pencil sketch, scan, then painted with Photoshop (5.5), with the only use of brushes and smudge tool and a pattern fill for the canvas. At time it is only an advanced color sketch to catch the right lights and details…

Just a tip, the “Marshall” logo on the cabinets are white plastic, and underneath the cloth, the face of the cabinet is solid, with round holes cut for the speakers, and the logo is attached to the wood.

I’ve worked in the music biz for years, I’m picky about realism. :slight_smile:

I would put the band logo there, that would be a cool detail.

Thanks Billy for the precious tip!
Perhaps, in this case, I’m non sure to have a close technical realism… it must be just a picture that “tell” a tale. The band logo will be placed big on the top of the poster. :beer:
