XSI 7 upgrade from Foundation license

I just install XSI 7 and could not get the license from Softimage web page (customer portal).
On my portal I found only my 6.5 Ess version, not the 7 one. XSI 7, I installed, is the upgrade version from Foundation.
I sent email to Softimage but did not hear anything for three days.

Is there anyone having the same problem I have?

Yes, there are other people having the same problem.

Did you contact License@softimage.com ?
They have a backlog of requests, and they are working hard to clear it.
So it may take three or more days.

You can get a 7.0 Trial license, or contact Support for a temp.

It has been a week now and my permanent license still in the air.
I feel like I am dealing with bureaucratic not customer service.
Surprisingly, o generate license, it takes more than 5 minutes.

Sending out twice, but all I got are automatic replies.
Hopefully, I will get it before 30 days period running out.

I had the same issue- since I already downloaded the trial and had it expired. I just asked support for another trial/demo/temp license while they get it all straightened out/finalized in the licensing dept. and received another 30temp in a day.

Sorry it took you so long 9192- did you try calling them? If you’re ever in doubt I’d do it- call support if it’s been a few days after emailing and your license isn’t working.
