Wow, I totally missed the fact this was released. This is the first time when I can read through the list and see that around 30% of the problems fixed are problems I experienced myself.
I’ll download this later methinks.
Reasonably quick patch though if you ask me. Good stuff.

I have only been using XSI since the 7.0 release, liking it a lot, but have never done updates like this. Usually like with Max, it is a patch file. This appears to be a complete install.

Will it wipe out my preferences or should I just run it and let it overwrite the install directory ?

It will most likely install in a new directory.
There normally is an option on install to migrate your preferences, that failing it’s just a matter of copying a user folder or two across to get them back though, so no big deal.

You could use: File > Migrate Preferences… :slight_smile:
