x-code

#1

first time trying to write a c++ app on a mac with x code. not quite sure how to go about settin up the project if any one can give me some advice. it would be a big help. I’ve writen applications with applescript studio and want to be able to use c++ in the same way in conjunction with the interface designer. I am a student and need help with this quickly so if anyone could help it wold be great.

if by X you mean X-Windows you’ll probably be far better off learning cocoa. i’ve had a very short stint at it last year. wasn’t overly impressed with it, but it seems like a nice development environment.

I think he means the IDE x-code.

dare I say it, rtfm?

You might want to try mac-specific programming sites as well…
