Writer Looking for Animation Collaborator

#1

Looking to find someone who loves comedy and can create animation along the lines of Rick and Morty and Trip Tank (adult swim). The idea would be to post the videos to youtube, use them as part of resume and enter them in short film contests; all credit and whatever else would be split 50/50. I’m 31, started writing a year ago and recently had a spec of curb your enthusiasm reach the final round of a tv writing contest. I’m really just dying to get my work out there. I love outlandish, silly comedy, the more unusual and creative the better but at the same time I use a lot of satire to critique things about the world. Comedy comes first for me, all I care about is making people laugh, anything political or social is just fuel for the comedy. I don’t care as much about your animation abilities as that you are able to put in the hard work to get things done and that you love comedy. I want to share ideas, make this a joint work. Quick idea of my comedic taste: Bill Burr, Deuce Bigalow, cartoons mentioned above, south park, big lebowski, fear and loathing in las vegas, will ferrel. If you’re interested reach out and we can see if it might be a good fit, I will provide samples of my work including the curb spec, some colbert/stewart sketches and an original pilot. I have not done but am looking to do with this project the short sketches you would see in trip tank but obviously with a different angle. I also have an audio clip of bill burr’s podcast that I cut and would like to collaborate on which I can send.
