Workstation from Arbico - has anyone used them?

Hi Guys
I am planing to buy a workstation. I know the mostly widely used ones are from HP, Dell, Boxx and I have checked them out. The problem is that they are a bit too expensive for me . The other thing is that I wan to buy it on a monthly payment plan as well.
I did a search for cheaper alternative and found http://www.arbico.co.uk. They offer custom build workstations that are alot cheaper than HP and Dell and on a payment plan as well.
Has anyone used them and what is your opinion about it?
Also if you have any other recommendation for cheaper place to buy workstation I will be happy to hear from you.

In all honesty it looks just like any other shop that will do assembly for you.
If you have any well clued colleagues that owe you a beer it’s only an hour to spec out a box and an evening worth of work to put it together these days.

Workstations like HP, Dell etc get bought because they come with services, stock guarantees for N years and so on, but hardware wise they are nothing special. Even their Q/A is actually not that good these days for some brands/lines.

I’ve thought about building my own workstation as well. I’ve built my own pcs before .
The thing is that I dont think they are alot cheaper . For example a system worth £1650 in Arbico is with £150 more expensive than if I buy all parts from overclockers.co.uk . And Arbico offers 2 Years Return To Base (1st yr. Parts & Labour, 2nd yr. Labour) Warranty on top of that.
I dont know if it’s worth the hassle.

Have you looked at scan computers (http://3xs.scan.co.uk)? They do custom built as well if you are after that. I don’t know if they are cheaper than the other shop you mentioned, but scan offer 3 year warranty (1st year onsite, 2 & 3rd year return to base parts & labour).

They also have finance options as well.
