As mentioned the most jarring element is the strange cropping of the image which creates an unbalanced composition. It also kind of looks like he’s falling.
The buildings in the background don’t look like the typical superhero movie background buildings… they look like something out of 1970’s small (non-New York/LA/Chicago) town.
