Hello ! I’m writing a book on scientific visualization and illustration. I always used the “commercial” software around and after a while (I used one of the earlier version of blender) , curious to see how the things were going I used a new version of blender. I have to say that I was astonished since it has taken giant steps ahead and now I find more easy to do some things in Blender that in other software. Since my book will deal with technical stuff I’m interested to know how is possible to obtain wireframe with “colored” selected edges and points. (I already created edge rendering with opengl in high res and they are perfect) something like the illustration attached.
Also if anyone is interested in biomedical illustration and blender and want to know more about the project/other stuff let me know. I’m going to prepare some tuts and I’m always glad to talk about this topic.
