WIP- Sebastian Droid

Hello all,

I’m new to doing this kind of work and wanted to improve my photoshop Skills so i started a digital painting. It’s very rough needs work and I needed some pointers on how to get things done and bring my skill up.

One is my pure color set up and the other has the line work on the top to see my sketch. I’m very new to all of this and do need some help on how things get done and how to improve how everything looks and capture at the very least a simi realistic look for my picture.

I’m using photoshop CS 5 so it has th new painters delight features in it and I thought this would be a good time to pick up the skills I need

What you need to be concerned with right now isn’t the process. What you need more than anything else is to study/practice your critical foundations of visual art, for without it, no amount of technical process will produce a decent piece of artwork.

If you haven’t done so, go to the Art Techniques & Theories sub-forum and read the sticky threads (linked below in my signature). It will help you far more than any tips you will get in this thread about the technical process.
