Dear Nicolas,

That is an interesting start. However, the description says:
The ancients built Flussdorf on two opposing cliff faces above the river. The gorge drops about 200m deep below and the houses are seamlessly carved into the rock.

I would not encourage you to open up the plate like this and disregard the instructions. The idea is that the settlement was built along something like a shelf canyon, so even if you increase the distance between the two sides, the people living in those buildings should only be seeing the other neighbouring structures, not a desert.

Hope it is not too late for you to alter your sketch and implement some more of the plate to get back onto the right track.
