Hello again everyone.
Thanks again for the continued feedback. I really do appreaciate it.
Roger: Thanks for your observation. I took another look at the face and studied it for awhile. I can’t say that any flatness of the face really jumps out at me. I guess that I should add that I am not shooting for 100% anatomical accuracy in the head really.
See, I actually started off trying to emulate the style of face commonly seen in anime but as I continued to model I decided that I should leave that kind of style for another project. So, as I continued to model that face I decided to make it more realistic but not “real”.
Vegan: I appreciate you asking to modify my image before doing it. Thanks but there is no need to show me what you are talking about. I can see what you are saying just by looking at it.
Yes the jaw is a bit curved but it only really gets my attention when I look at it in wireframe. When I render it close to final quality it does not disturb me any. Even so, I think I will experiment with slight jaw variations before I finish this up.
John: Thanks for sounding off. I see the splines that you are talking about but they are not adjacent to each other. In order for me to join the two, I’d have to have one of them intersect the spline that runs between them and that is a no no.
After looking at that bicep hook though, I can say that I did not need to hook it as close to the shoulder as I have. Maybe I will bring it down one ring lower to see what it looks like.
If I do bring it down one ring. I don’t even think it would even change anything. It would render the same and it would not cause any problems with joint flexing once the rigging is complete.
If I am misunderstanding what you are saying let me know.
Thanks again.
