wip: card challenge joker

been a while since i posted here and saw this challenge and thought it would be fun.

thinking of what else i can add.

any suggestions or critiques are accepted.

this is the final as i see it.

i am going to name it joker’s gambit, this was mainly for fun and hope everyone else is having fun with their entries.

I like the idea behind this one, but feel the implementation could be better. I’d try a few different things before calling it complete. For example, you could enlarge the skull and “J” so that it is more dominant in the composition. Then develop more of the “flair” bits behind this main element that give a greater sense of balance or pattern. Since you have plenty of time remaining, you could also work to clean up your lines and make the image more refined and less sketchy.

i will probably do that i didn’t know what type of time frame i had and i was actually trying to challenge myself.

i wanted to see if i can come up with something quick and follow through on a time table.

i picked going a little more retro look, i been learning filigree bc people been asking me to design some tattoo’s and i been trying to incorporate new stuff.

i will work more on it and maybe do another card while i am at drill this weekend.
