WIP animation "Cubed" part 2

#1

Gosh, I can’t believe it. It’s been almost two month since I posted a first WIP of this animation. I blame Modo 201, the scorching UK summer-weather and my holiday for the slow progress:

This is just an OpenGL preview without any textures of the animation in its current state:

My earlier test, rendered at final quality:

Modelling: Silo
Textures: Photoshop and Combustion
Plug-ins: Xpressionist, rODEo and Encage

I certainly like the look of your render.
And very nice char. animation.

Definitely shows that EIAS can do a wide range of animation and looks. Can’t wait to see the rendered version of the tweaked animation.

Looking pretty good, so far. Nice looks!. Can’t wait to see the final version.

Ha! Thanks for that! I got a big ‘kick’ out of it. (Hoo! I’m so funny…) Really, though, I like what you’ve done very, very much. That’s such a cute little environment and the motion is very well done. I’d love to see more of this when you have it.

Neither can I

That is GREAT! I really really like the character movement a lot! Can you please elaborate on your use of Rodeo in the scene? I would love to know more.

Thanks!

I just used it for the cube. I was testing out how well rODEo works with keyframed animation.
