This is my very first thread here.
Recently I got inspired by a painting by Mike Redman.
What I am going to do is make this scene in 3D. It is a painting by Mike Redman (and he gave me green light to make this in 3D

It really touched me and however I have seen a lot of beautifull stuff out there, not many made me emotional like this painting. Perhaps of own experience? Or maybe because it’s very simple in colours and composition, yet strong that it’s seems to be concept art for a Disney/Pixar movie?
I don’t know, but it works.
First thing I will do is block-out of the scene with help of camera mapping in Maya.
I have also somewhere in my database a good mesh to start sculpting on to create the characters.
I’m looking forward to this and with your help and feedback guys, I hope this to make a good ending to it!
