Wind simulation in a tree

#1

Hello everyone!

I posted this question before I became completely crazy, because my problem is nearly funny as the Rubik’s cube.:wip:
I explain: I am trying to animate a tree in the wind, like this : http://youtu.be/91TZeePb8Pk … good, evidently, on a 3D app, it can do worse!
But the question is, how? I tried everything : noise modifier, curve, a wind force linked in my tree, it looks like anything but not wind! Exit plugins like Onyx TreeStorm I haven’t this, unfortunately, and I certainly do not buy just to use it once!
So I turn to a kind soul who can help me move this f…kin tree!
Do I have to keep my tree in polys, or to the trunk and branches with polys and leaves with PFlow particles?
I take it anymore! And besides, it’s starting to get urgent!

Sorry for my bad English but Google Trad is not very efficient

Thank you in advance!

So what exactly did you do to animate it?

it’s a bit long to explain, but to make it fast, I have a polygonal tree (60,000 polys), I separated each branch with leaves and I animated separately by putting more modifiers (see screenshots )

STEP 01

STEP 02

STEP 03
and it gives the movie you saw. Well, it’s a bit long but for several trees, I do some proxys with the animation (I work in Vray). In any case, it works very well for palms. If you need more information, do not hesitate!
(sorry for my english deplorable, but Google Trad is not very efficient!
