I’m working with CS2 and this function no longer works. I used to be able to drag from windows explorer and internet explorer.
My OS is Vista 64-bit, so not sure if its just being annoying and set something behind my back!
any help would be ace!

It might be the browser itself and not Photoshop. I ran into a similar problem with Firefox last year. A way around it would be to right click on the image and select “copy” then paste it into your photoshop file or press ctrl-N to create a new file based on the image size and paste it into the file.
yep thats pretty much what I have to do with internet pics. but it’s the windows explorer drag n drop I miss as I could have multiple directorys open. if this was a problem with the browser, any idea what option to look for?
I’m not sure what version of IE that you’re using though. It’s the way the browser caches the images. There might be a way to tweak the settings so that it has more memory to do that and that might solve the problem. IDK.
ive done this for a while im in PScs2, and after a while my browser will
only drop them as bitmaps to desktop/folders mostly. i usually wipe my IE cache, and it eventually works again. reboot too.
