which markers do you use ?

Prismacolor, Le Plume, and Copic.

Prismacolors and Le Plumes are used by artists.

Copics are typically used by wannabe anime copycats.

This isn’t an insult to people who draw in the Japanese style. What I mean is that in the American market, Copic markers have a large following because they’re widely used and popular in Japan. Therefore, people who want to draw manga go and buy these obscenely expensive markers assuming the brand will give you a certain style, which is untrue.

In Copic’s defense, they have a brush tip which works quite nicely, however Le Plume markers also have a brush tip and are cheaper.

You can find all three brands in finer art supply stores, and some in Michaels.
