Hi there, I need some help in choosing a new PC build for modeling/rendering within 3DS Max and sculpting in ZBrush. These are the builds I am currently looking at:
Build A:
1 x Intel Core i7-4770K Soc 1150
1 x Cooling System Prolimatech Basic 68, 120mm
1 x MSI Z97 U3 Plus, s1150, D3, S3, m.2, DP, ATX
2 x Crucial Module 8GB, 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800
1 x Gainward GeForce® GTX 970 Phantom 4GB
1 x Toshiba 2TB,7200rpm, 64MB HDD
1 x SSD Patriot Pyro 120GB, 7mm, 2.5"
1 x Zalman R1 mid tower case
1 x Fortron Hyper 600W, 80+

Build B:

1 x Intel Core i7-5820K 3.30GHz,1.5MB,15MB,140 W,2011-3 no cooler
1 x Asrock X99 Extreme4, Intel® Socket 2011-v3, Intel® X99, 4-channel
4 x DDR4 4GB (1x4GB) Crucial, 2133MHz, CT4G4DFS8213
1 x Samsung 120GB 840 EVO Basic, SSD disk, Capacity 120 GB, 2,5"
1 x TOSHIBA 1TB, 7200rpm, SATA 6 Gb/s, 32MB, DT01ACA100
1 x PSU XFX TS Series 550W PSU -P1550S-XXB9
1 x Gigabyte GTX750Ti OC 2048 GDDR5 128bit
1 x Scythe Mugen MAX, SCMGD-1000
1 x Zalman Z3 PLUS WHITE mid tower case. 192(W)x465(H)x430(D)mm.

If anyone could tell me which of these would be better for modeling, or if there isn’t much of a difference, I would greatly appreciate it
Thanks for any help in advance.

They both have their pros and cons. CPU-wise, they are about the same and both will overclock to about the same, so it really only comes down to the gfx card, where the first one wins by quite a margin. The only thing going for the second machine is that it will render about 40% faster, but everything else is in favour of the first machine.
