Sorry, the search-button is broken and couldn’t find if this has been discussed before, also feel free to move to the correct forum if I’m wrong. The question is >
I need to setup a flatscreen TV into my home studio for reviewing purposes as well as to use as a second monitor once in a while.
Now is the sense in this only to check how things look on a consumer tv (color crunching etc) and to be able to view things in bigger screen or is there more for the reason? I mean should I buy something expensive that is supposed to deal great with colors (color calibrating a tv - is that even possible?)?
Also, has anyone here worked on those stereo 3d -monitors for compositing? I’ve understood they can’t produce colors as well as normal flat screen tv’s (bad gradients etc)
Any info on this greatly appreciated!
