Where to find Free 3d models to practice rigging

Helo Friends,
I am interested in Rigging. I recently got a few cool tutes on rigging. I am wondering where I can find 3d models(Maya 8.5/above) to practice rigging. Please help me out

Well, you will need a model with proper topology for rigging/animation… and those are pretty rare…even less free, you can find lots of them but they will need re-topology pass for sure.

If it’s characters you’re looking for, you can always download one of the many free, rigged characters out there and then export the geometry so you’ve got a nice, clean mesh to work with.
