Where are the tutorials for starting from scratch?

So i want to learn 3ds max but i have no idea where to start.

I already know maya and when i started learning maya there was a set of tutorials that came with it and showed you how to do everything. Does 3ds have these? I cant find them :shrug: I am a reall noob i dont know how to change views or any of the shortcuts :sad:

Well to change viewports from one big one to four there is a little button in the lower right hand corner pretty much all those buttons are for changeing the viewin one way or another. and if you are working with max 9 just go to help and click on welcome screen and there should be some basic stuff or you could just click on tutorials and there are a ton there.

thanks but isnt there any ones what just go through how to do your first model etc. All the ones i have seen assume you know what everything is and how to navigate through all the buttons :eek:

Eric Maslowski’s video tutorials are a perfect place to start. They’re extremely thorough and directed at total newbies (like me). I’m just really glad they’re there.
