im mainly a Animator and i plan to get more into modeling as its essential in cg.

my first tutorials was that tutorial included in max (help -> tutorials)

well, regarding your request for car tutorials i have been collecting links of the various tutorials that can be found on the net about modeling cars and i have a thread here at cgtalk listing the links that i and other users have been able to find.
