What are your favorite, most-used Photoshop tricks for your workflow?

Does anyone have any secrets they’re willing to share?

Using actions, in my opinion, speeds up the little things during production which eventually add up in the long run.

I use custom actions when starting illustrations or storyboards to set up layer folders, and color code references, flats, lights and shadow. Its a small task, but naming them every time is unnecessary if you can automate repetitive processes.

There are also some scripts that “Un-Smart” objects back into the document, making it a convenient way to work with layers non-destructively.
