As seen in my image, I have a ‘larynx’ that I created and UV’d. (I will smooth the model after I have UV’d it all)
I found the neat feature called ‘Smooth UV’. But I dont know if I am using it correctly, and what options to use.
Do I select all the UV points of a shell and use smooth UV? (not selecting the uv points on the edges though).
Do I use it on a small ‘clumped part’ of UV’s within the shell do make the spacing look neater?
Do I use the ‘relax’ feature, as I have done in image, that spaces the UV’s out?Or the ‘unfold’? ( Although that can alter the texturing of the UV shell, to what the actual geometry looks like…?
Any insight into his would help. I seem to be slowly learning with each 3D process. (First zbrush tips, when retopology, now UV’ing)
