Weird mesh when importing .obj

Hello fellow vue users.

I have a pretty clean mesh in Maya, but when I try to import as obj into vue the topology gets really messy. How do I get the exact same topology from maya in Vue?

Would appreciate any help.

Here’s an idea. Try opening your mesh in UVMapper (free version) and save it from there and see if it works.

Instead of .OBJ, try exporting to your mesh to .DXF and import it as .DXF. Fixed some strange things for me in the past.
