Play with the curves =P That’s really good if it’s only your first ever walk cycle
but if it’s a march your going for the hands look too floppy, if it’s a generic relaxed walk the spine and hips need to move he’s got the dreaded spine-rod disease
Thanks agatasoda for spending time and giving me critic.I agree about floppy hands but I did it from a reference of pixar walk cycle. As my character is not cartoony at all his hands dont look right!I think I need to change my character rig so I can add some movement for hip and back to reduce his back pain:)
No problem I’ve still got a lot to learn but whatever information i can pass along I will
Not sure what software you are using but it kinda feels like Maya (which I’m not familiar with) but as long as it has a copy rotation constraint or something similar there is a very awesome rig made by Dimitrii (for blender my software weapon of choice) it’s a little hard to understand due to the fact that I don’t speak what I think is Russian but this hopefully should give some ideas for different ways to rig =P http://vimeo.com/10685206
Apart from the hands i think the easiest thing to do would be to play with curves to get it to look better. Keep at it
