Hi i would apreciate some advice on this animation, thanks.
Walk cycle dinosaur
Hi!
I really like how you made the toes spread when they land on the ground.
However there needs to be bigger weight shifts because the dino looks off balance every time he lifts his leg to step.
The feet seem to slip lots and the body/head seem very stiff.
hope that helps

Hi there
Its nice, but remember this is a “Hunter” Dinosaur, So you have to keep it balanced , seem to focused always on a target. by noticing these, keep the head straight , and don’t let the body slip Repeatedly by sides,Do it more at top-down and less in sides.
the way you’ve currently animated this creature, is match with the music of -“Liar! Liar! burn into the fire!”- (I wish you’ve heard such thing with melody). anyway, try to take “La La” rhythm away from it and give it some elegance, if you want it to look like a predator …
Rooster , and some other non-flying Birds are good sample to look after.
good luck

You have basically done the same thing as animating a human walk cycle where the arms and legs are in sync instead of opposing. The tail and body should counter rotate to the hips - which will create some of the balance you are looking for.
