Hi everyone,
I’ve just finished a tutorial about animating walks that I’ve been working on for a while.
Hope you like it: http://www.aprilpeter.com/tutorial/intro.htm

“Uncle Richard”? Might that possibly be a reference to Richard Williams?
Also, looks great, I’m gonna definitely have to take the time to read over it. Looks like I might learn a thing or two… or twelve
Very well done.
I too don’t animate “in place”.
I start with the legs though.
Your method forces you to pay more attention to the body.
I’ll try this with my class next time.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing. It sure was a quick and new way to approach walk cycles. I will have to give it a shot the next time I animate something walking. :applause:
Very Interesting Stuff … definitely a different approach than Uncle Richard … Thanks for the Share
