Wacome or Genious graphics tablet..

So basically im looking to but one of these and im not sure which one…ill use it mostly for simple painting and for some texturing in photoshop and i cant decide between genious easypen m506a and wacom bamboo manga cth-470m…if you have any experience with any of these or in general with these two brands let me know,any info is welcome :slight_smile:

I have used both, if you can afford wacom, then go with wacom.
No competition if you ask me.

Yeah. I haven’t had experience with the Genius brand only because I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences with the Wacom tablets. Wacom builds them sturdy and reliable. The pens feel comfortable and. when they don’t, you can always buy alternative pens from them. The drivers have had their occasional issues in the past, but they tend to be stable in almost all cases. Looking at that Genius tablet, the construction looks a bit cheaper. I don’t know if it is, but it looks more like a poorly built toy compared to a Wacom. You might pay a little more for the Wacom brand, but it’s hard to deny that their products are high quality, even the low end ones like the Bamboo.

I have an 8 year old Intuos that still works & is still supported by them.

I bought a Wacom Intuos 2 some years back, still working and I never complain about it.
