Vue7 Infinite camera woes...

#1

So far, i’m loving V7 -it seems way more stable than 6, and feels overall faster. One thing that’s been driving me nuts -and I can’t find an option to turn it off (if possible) is the camera and the way it hovers above the terrain.

I have a terrain that is up in the cloud layer. I"ll be moving my view, trying to frame out a nice scene, but if I get too close to the edge and fall off, the camera drops back to default z height. I’m having to constantly Undo each movement because of my fine-tuning -which really can’t be done using the orthographic views.

No other Vue had this “hovering” camera that mimics the shape of the terrain. Is there an option to turn this off?

Click on your camera.

On its’ properties on the top right side of VUE window(beside the numerical height setting) you will see a lock icon.Click it and that’s it.

Thanks! Man, I swore I checked that before, and it wasn’t checked -but it was today. Fixed -thanks.
