…I created some basic side flyby in vue scene, and opened it in max, where I want to add some toy plane flying around the vegetation. I rendered vue scenery animation in layers for compositing, but now I want to render in max only this toy plane and shadow cast on terrain.
I cannot assign any material other than original Vue’s on the terrain? Obviously, Im after the matte/shadow material from 3dsmax
Also, if I need to render whole scene with atmosspheric, frame by frame in x separate layers, just to use the simple plane and his shadow - it’s time consuming overkill. I would settle even for a base terrain mesh without vegetation, but collapsing vue’s terrain to mesh return a flat plane. Maybe the object need to be baked to polygons inside the vue, but first I would like to try (if there is such) more elegant solution to this problem:)

…one more question: How to unlock Vue camera imported in max thru xStream import, especially target distance, because, it is unwillingly flipping my camera.
