Vue Vs. 3ds Max Lighting..updated

Hi guys I have a request, I am comparing Vue Lights against 3ds Max lighting for university and wondered if a couple of people could score each light in the area of performance and effectiveness, this will have justify and quantify this topic, your educated guess will help and will be appreciated. Thanks Mark

(1,being poor and 5, being good) for example: -

Vue’s Lights

[color=white]Spot Light = 4 [/color]
[color=white]Quadratic Spot Light= 5[/color]
[color=white]Directional Light = 4[/color]
[color=white]Omni Light = 3 [/color]
[color=white]Quadratic Omni Light = 4 [/color]
[color=white]Light Panel = 5 [/color]
[color=white]Sun = 4 [/color]
[color=white]Atmosphere Editor = 5[/color]

3ds Max Light

Free Spot = 5
Free Direct = 5
Sky Light = 3
Omni Light = 3
Glowing Plane = 2
Daylight System = 4
Environment Editor = 3
Target Spot = 4
Target Direct = 4

i havent used max that much, but do know of its main lighting parameters. it might be a little biased though!!
