hi everybody, I have a scale problem with vue 7.5 xstream while exporting my scene to maya. I export my scene as a obj to vue and work on it. after I want to reexport it to maya but it is not same size as a before. how can I fix it. I just want to keep by object size same while exporting between maya and vue. waiting ideas, thanks alot.
Vue & Maya integration's problem
I would suggest using a reference object, such as a simple sphere. When you export back to Maya, group everything, then set your pivot to the center of the reference sphere, then move the new group to your original reference sphere’s position and scale up. You can then determine the scale factor at fault here, and set a quick preset to scale/translate everything from here on out.
