I’m currently learning 3dsmax and vray renderer. I’ve been getting a strange glitch when using vraysun + bump maps. It appears that bump maps are calculated as if there are no walls. Flipping normals does not help. It looks like I have to create an artificial shade for the walls above them, so that the sun rays do not hit the walls on the back side.

Before writing here I tried many options in the renderer, lights and vray materials, but no use. I’m pretty sure it’s an easy fix for somebody knowledgeable in vray. THANK YOU!
