VRay - white dots in Render

#1

Hi Guys,

need your help again :). We have some issues with our renders. On quite a lot of them (through different computers and persons) appear white dots that do not belong there. It seems to be some issue with the reflectivity /glossiness of the material. It happens trough all ways of rendering: local, distributed or net render.
The dots are always on the same spot, unless you change the camera or the light).

Attached a little screenshot of the issue and the Material Editor.

Any help would be appreciated,

Chris

there is an option “invisible” in the vray lights, try with it.

There’s a bunch of threads on the chaosgroup forums about how to fix this, you’re better off going there. It’s not hard to fix but there are many variables, and those threads go into them.
