VRay 'Render to Texture' lightning issue - 3ds Max 2009

Hey,

I’m currently working on a project for a flight simulator, using VRays “Render to Texture”
technology.

I’ve got a Vray Sun set up with the following settings:

turbidity - 2.0
ozone - 0.9
inensity mult. - 0.01
size mult. - 10.0
shadow sub - 16
shadow bias - 0.2
photon emit - 50.0

and the time set to mid-day.

The problem is that two opposite sites of a hangar aren’t lit as I expected.
The upper one is nicely lit, the lower one doesn’t seem as it received correct or any lightning at all.

Do you have any GI.
The back of your container can only by light by light bouncing around

Yeah,

GI is enabled with an Irradiance Map as the first source and Light Cache as the second.
The render-settings seem to be fine so far, as well as object properties and stuff :shrug:
