Vray - projected displacement problem

Hi guys, plase don’t you know how should I set up the displacement in Vray if I am projecting the map through camera projection node? Because when I try that, I see very weird look - looks like displaced faces has inverted normals or what… I don’t understand completely look on the image where I’ve used simple gradient - it’s black like hell :surprised

Please do you have any suggestions?

I just tried this in Maya 2016 sp3 with Vray 3.1 and it worked as you’d expect, no blackness from hell! :shrug:

OK, tahnk you for the test - I didi a workaround and instead of displacament in Vray - I am using for my scene maya texture deformer… but problem still remains…
