Vray alpha masked objects dissapear in distance

I have a plant model with an alpha mask on the leaves. When I place the plant far off, the material with the alpha mask disappears (the materials without alpha masking renders fine).

Is there any setting that fixes this? Thanks!

You might want to play around with the filter settings of the texture. The VRayBMPFilter map could be helpful in that regard, as it interpolates between pixels without loss of quality.
