my bifrost Liquid in viewport 2.0:
I’m trying to render a Bifröst simulation assigning colors to densities or velocities but after a lot of research I’m starting to think that it’s not possible in Arnold 5, UserDataFloat is not working for me. I mean translate colors what you can display in the viewport (under liquidShape > Voxel Display / Color channel remap) to Arnold. Any ideas?.

i did it once with Soup and VDB plugin, getting the bifrost data with bifrost_to_array node and passing it to the vertex of the output mesh.
After that you simply read the vertex color with the renderer
