Hello. I’m quite new with animation and 3ds max. I’m trying to make a spinning/rotating vortex. The idea is that the animation is going to be in a loop…
Any advice or tutorials i could check out? I have checked some but most (all) of them are not that good because they lack explanations what the settings do etc.
Use the Vortex spacewarp? (also read about it in the help-file that comes with 3ds Max)
Or, be more specific about what you want, found and tried so far. Also a reference or a work-in-progress that you (should) have would be handy.

Here is two reference images that i’m going to use for the “vortex”. It’s that purple thing i want to make. I can’t figure out all the settings… there is about a million different settings and buttons when you press the “6” key while in 3ds max (feels like that anyway haha). Plus i’m not quite sure of what particle flow i must use and how i connect it to something.
