Voronoi fracture + random effector + field = shards disappear

I’m doing a simple animation where an object is fractured. I’m controlling which part of the object is being shattered by using a field and a random effector.

I’m then animating the random effector in the fracture object itself by keyframing the slider in the effectors tab, going from 0 to 100.

Some of the shards suddenly disappear. Is there any particular reason for that?

If you want an explanation for your scene you should provide it.
Your case may not be easily replicated.
Also provide your application version in case it’s a bug or a feature that has been corrected/enhanced in newer versions.

@demis you’re right, it is not easy to get the same issue.

I cannot post the original scene I’m working on and so I tried to replicate the same behavior on a new scene with different geometry and the problem doesn’t occur.

Probably it’s because of the different geometry, hard to tell.

I’ll keep trying and in case I can figure something out I’ll post an update.
