However, after watching the video and downloading the latest PC and MAC releases (2.58a) - I still can’t seem to get it to work.
Not even sure how to enable it… I know this is an error on my part.
Any help would be appreciated.

I believe this has something to do with the Google summer of code 2011, so it is not yet in the official build.
However there is a build over at graphicall but it’s for 64bit windows only http://graphicall.org/436
