Wow, thanks for the lesson. The thing I liked most about this film is the background, it is beautiful, there is not texture but it works so well and brings so much to the character. That to me was the most wonderful part, and it really made the characters stand out.
I’m definately going to use that style in my movie!!! It really looks great without having to add to much.

What program did you use? How long did it take?
Thanks for your comments, answering your question I used XSI Softimage. At VFS we actually start to work in our reels since term four… so it would be about six months.

wow… that was so fun.
I like the shot where the caveman removes his mask, very nice. Character design looks so good too, you realy nailed the sketches you have in your website.
The only thing that seems a bit off to me is the fact of having the caveman speaking at the end. Not sure why, though.

i’d say the only thing that really needed work was the lighting,
not bad, but could have been better.
overall the stylish presentation was really cool,
i loved the shot where the dino sneaks up and chomps the caveman,
was layed out really dynamically… and uh… cool.
