very large scene fumefx explosion

I have a very large scene which fume grid reaching 3k x 3k x 3k in cm.
and the explosion flame is blow towards the camera. how do I get close up details of the flame? using fumefx 2

Don’t be dependent on the scene scale - you can always copy it, use the rescale world units tool to make it smaller or bigger, parent it to a helper at zero coordinates, sim your Fume in that new scene, merge it into the original one, and scale the parent helper the right amount - it will fit your scene. About getting the resolution - your best bet is splitting into several grids, that way you can get smaller voxels with manageable simulations.
